I have so many reasons to give thanks. Psalm 92 highlighted three: God’s unfailing character, the promise that justice will come, and the flourishing of the righteous. I don’t always pay attention to how God works these things out in my life. Beyond paying attention, I need to share my thanks with the Lord and others.

How to pray for FBC
Wouldn’t it be great if we were known as a church that is grateful. How would it impact our community if FBCers lived with the confidence that God is taking care of us no matter what happens? How would it impact our community if we lived in light of the truth that we will flourish? I think that is a great way to pray Psalm 92 for FBC: may we be a church that is known for its gratitude.
How to pray for our Community and our World
Psalm 92 describes the wicked as fools. They do not know that their seeming successes will pass away and become worthless. Let’s pray that eyes will be opened. Pray for that our non-Christian neighbors will begin to see that what they value most does not compare with the Lord. Pray the same for those our missionaries work with around the world.
