The KIds’ Ministry will be hosting our annual Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 25th, from 1:00-3:00 in the Education building. There will not be an egg hunt this year but instead we will have the kids travel from room to room with their parents to do an activity or hear a book read that points them to a part of the Easter Story. They will get small gifts along the way. After a child has gone to each room, they will be given a bag filled with candy and small prizes. It will be better than hunting for eggs! They will hear the Gospel, have fun, and still get candy!! There will also be a photo booth, a drawing for door prizes, and other activities. Here are some ways that you can help:
1. Help at the event and/or help clean up after the event. We need people to man the rooms, the prize table, the activity stations, the registration table,…
2. Invite your family and friends to come!
3. Donate money to buy the toys and candy for the event. This worked really well last year in that we could make all of the bags the same and we could get what would work best. Last year we made Easter bags for the students at Bailey School with the candy and toys we had left from our event. We are planning on blessing them again this year. You can give at the link below, bring cash or a check to the TreeHouse Lobby, or put a check in the offering with Easter Celebration written on the memo line.
4. Most importantly, pray that the event will bear much fruit in the lives of the families that attend. We hope and pray that this will be an event that encourages and blesses those that attend. If you have any questions or would like to help, please contact Kim Auran.
