APPROVED CHANGES TO THE TRUSTEE BOARD
New Trustees for the November 2019 – November 2020 Board are:

BAPTISM CELEBRATION
Today we celebrate baptism, which identifies a Christ-follower in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It is an important and sacred ordinance for believers to observe and for the body to witness and afirm.
There will be a celebration with refreshments on the patio by the baptismal after the service.

ADVENT CONSPIRACY SERMON SERIES | Begins Sunday, November 24th
Our Advent sermon series, “Advent Conspiracy”, begins next Sunday! Throughout the series, we will learn how God is calling us to Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, and Love All. We will also be presented with opportunities to serve those in need. For more information on Advent Conspiracy, visit adventconspiracy.org.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR SOUTH WARD | Now Until December 8th
Help us bless South Ward Elementary by purchasing $5 ornaments in the Worship Center Foyer and placing them onto the tree of your choice. Each tree represents a grade level at South Ward. Your donations will go toward a gift for each student, goodie bags, and a gift for each staff member. The last day for contributions is Sunday, December 8th.

SPARKS FOOD DRIVE | Now Until November 24th | FBC
The Awana Sparks (K-2nd grade) are collecting canned goods to benefit the less fortunate this Thanksgiving season. Donation boxes are in the Worship Center Foyer, TreeHouse, and Adult Education Center Gym until Sunday, November 24th. The donations will be taken to the Longview Thanksgiving Food Drive at Maude Cobb on Monday, November 25th.

GREG HAGER CHRISTMAS CONCERT | Sunday, December 1st | FBC Worship Center | 6:00pm
Come join us as Award Winning singer/songwriter Greg Hager tells the Christmas story through song! He is an accomplished musician who sings about God, faith, and life. The event is free, but there will be an opportunity to give a love offering, so he can continue his ministry. All are welcome!
