DONATIONS FOR LOCAL MINISTRIES
During the month of October we will be collecting new supplies for two of the ministries that we will do projects for at our annual Friendsgiving event. We will be collecting twin size sheets, pillows, and blankets for Beds of Hope. We will also be collecting underwear, socks, and diapers for Legacy Closet. Please make sure all things are new and unopened. Both of these ministries minister to families with foster, kinship., or adoptive kids. We will then give the supplies to the ministries during our Friendsgiving event so you can even bring your gifts that day. What a great way to come alongside some families in our community. There will be a collection box in the Worship Center Foyer and in the TreeHouse Lobby.

21 DAYS OF PRAYER | STARTING OCTOBER 31 | SIGN UP TODAY
We want to make a concerted prayer effort as our Pastoral Search Committee begins its important mission. To further that effort, we will again undertake a 21 Days of Prayer We will fill the hours from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, ending at midnight, every day of the week. You will pray on the same day/hour each week for 3 weeks. You will receive a text, call, or email from the person before you at the start of the hour, and you will contact the person after you at the end of that hour. Campaign. You may sign up HERE.

FRIENDSGIVING | NOVEMBER 5 | 12 – 3 p.m.
Our annual event, Friendsgiving, will take place on Saturday, November 5th, from 12noon – 3:00pm. There will be a soup/stew/chili contest and a dessert contest. We will then all eat together in the gym. You do not have to enter the food you bring into the contests. It is a fun time to fellowship and to try some new, delicious foods.

After lunch we will work on service projects together. We will be doing projects for Legacy Closet, Beds of Hope, Meals with Love (part of Longview Community Ministries), and Bailey School. (You can look up more information on these ministries on the internet or Facebook.) Come be a part of Friendsgiving!

CHRISTMAS TEA | NOVEMBER 18 | 6-8 p.m.
Attention FBC Ladies—young and not as young …this year we are going to have a Christmas Tea! We are very excited to share in this lovely and festive evening with you. There will be carols, stories lite dinner, and of course, tea. Tickets are $10 (13 & up) and $7 (12 & under).
