Today you will notice a decorated Christmas tree in the foyer. On it you will find the names of the children of the missionaries we support, and their gift wishes. This is one of the ways we show love and support to our missionary families. Pick a child, sign your name and the name of your chosen child, purchase the gift, and return it by October 22.

Pray, Give, Go – those are three opportunities to help those affected by the hurricanes. Let’s continue to pray for the victims of Harvey and Irma. Check out the links on our website at www.longviewfbc.com for ways to be involved through Samaritan’s Purse and 8 Days of Hope.

One small way we can save money is to keep the office closed on Fridays. In reality, the pastoral staff is already off that day. Let us know if there is something you need done before the weekend. We can work with you to get it done when the office is open.
