Book Drive for the New Montessori Prep Academy starts July 30!
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR FELLOWSHIP BIBLE CHURCH

To Benefit the East Texas Montessori Prep Academy’s Library

What to buy

  • Reading Level Range of Books: Board books to Early Reader Chapter Books.
  • Book Condition: Please donate NEW books (since it is a new library). It does not have to be a recent copyright date, but it should be new condition.
  • Books that are simple and short, with lots of pictures and color will be popular

Because we are buying educational supplies to keep for the entire school, long term, there are certain items to avoid.

  • Avoid books with batteries or moving parts.
  • Don’t get any workbooks to write or color in
  • Do not buy toys
  • IMPORTANT: Because the books are going into a public school, we should avoid books that might be rejected as overly evangelistic
  • Books on character traits such as kindness, sharing, honesty, etc. are excellent

Where to purchase

  • Local Retail: Wal-Mart, Target, Kohls, Books-A-Million, etc.
  • Websites: Amazon and Books-A-Million

BOOKS FOR SOUTH WARD ELEMENTARY

Books-A-Million has a book fair underway now in their store for the Longview ISD libraries. Patrons may come into the store and purchase books chosen specifically for South Ward by their librarian [FBC’s Linda Bailey] and for the Montessori School by their librarian.

THERE WILL BE A BASKET IN THE FOYER STARTING JULY 30 TO RECEIVE YOUR DONATED BOOKS FOR THE MONTESSORI SCHOOL. LET’S SEE HOW MANY WE CAN COLLECT!
