Your roadmap toNext Steps at FBC
Whether you are new to Fellowship or you have been here for awhile, knowing how to take your next step in becoming more involved can seem intimidating.
We want to help you feel comfortable in making those next steps. We realize that every person is different and may be at different points in their discipleship journey. To help with this, we have developed a roadmap, if you will, that can give you an idea of how best to take your next steps. You have already taken an initial step by visiting THE HUB and finding this page!
In most cases, everyone who is new to Fellowship Bible Church started with attending our services. We hope you have come to enjoy our worship services and the variety of styles in our pastoral teaching team. Again, if you are new to the Christian faith or have been a believer for many years, it is important to continue with regularly and consistently worshipping with a corporate body of believers. However, as you will see, there is much more to life at Fellowship than attending services.
If you are new to Fellowship, we hope you took your next step by filling out a Guest Connection card when you first attended. If you did not have the opportunity to do so, please let us know you are here by filling out our online CONNECTION CARD here on THE HUB. Having your information on file allows us to better serve you and your family.
In addition, if you haven’t already done so, stop by the Guest Connection desk in the Worship Center foyer and introduce yourself. We have a free gift for you and some valuable information on our ministries and on our regularly scheduled Next Steps Lunch with our pastors.
If you have a smartphone or tablet, make sure you download our mobile app. It is available for iOS, Android, Windows Phones, and Amazon devices and is a key way we deliver information to our congregation. To download the app, click on this LINK.
Over the summer while folks are on vacation, we will temporarily suspend our Next Steps lunches. We will resume them in the Fall.
Fellowship Bible Church is a local family of believers and followers of Jesus Christ. As such, we care for each other on many different levels. That kind of care is a commitment to each other and to the church as an organized body of believers. As part of growing on your journey in discipleship, it is important at some point to commit your time and energy to a local body, such as Fellowship. If you are regularly attending Fellowship, we encourage you to make that next level of commitment, by becoming a member of our church. Membership is not required here at Fellowship. But, by becoming a member, you are expressing your level of commitment to this particular body of believers.
Being part of a family requires being a part of ongoing relationships. We encourage you as part of joining our family to be a part of Life Groups and Small Groups. Life Groups on Sunday mornings are a great place to learn more about our faith and to grow in practical Christian living. Home-based Small Groups are where you can develop deeper relationships with others in our body and to support each other through various events and stages of life.
Here on THE HUB, there is information and signups for:
We look forward to partnering with you, as you make these next steps in joining the Fellowship family.
We live in a fallen world and Jesus instructed us to be salt and light to the world around us. Whether you are providing support or leadership internally within Fellowship or are on the mission field either locally or globally, Jesus wants us to impact our world.
Fellowship has many opportunities to serve both internally within the church and externally to the church. God doesn’t focus on our ability, but rather our availability. When we make ourselves available for service, God has a way of making up for any of our shortcomings. However, we do want to get you plugged in where you will not just survive… but thrive… something you are “wired” to do, if at all possible.
Here on THE HUB, we have a VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM that you can fill out to let us know areas where you might be interested in serving. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We want you to be encouraged to take this important next step in impacting your world for Jesus.
